Workbench Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026
Workbench is a project notebook. This policy explains what information it uses and why.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we process your email address and account authentication details. Workbench stores the project information you choose to add, including project names, descriptions, tasks, notes, measurements, materials, dates, and files or photos you upload. We also store device push-notification tokens if you enable push notifications.
How we use information
We use your information to provide and secure Workbench, synchronize your notebook, show your project data, support scheduled reminders, and deliver collaboration invitations. When you share a project, collaborators can access only that project and its related content according to the role you choose.
Service providers
Workbench uses Supabase to provide account authentication, database storage, and private file storage. Apple Push Notification service may receive a device token and notification payload when you enable push notifications. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
Your project data remains until you delete it or request account deletion. Deleting a project removes its related project records and files. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact workbench@tinkervalley.ca from the email address associated with the account.
Security
Project data is protected by account-based access controls. Shared-project access is limited to the role selected by the project owner. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable technical measures to protect information.
Children
Workbench is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Workbench changes. The effective date above will be updated when we do. For privacy questions, contact workbench@tinkervalley.ca.
